Guy Parent - President
Guy has dedicated the last 27 years exclusively to
the security and investigation industry. An honours
graduate from the first offered Law and Security program
offered in Windsor, Guy went back to teach investigative
technique courses at St. Clair College while continuing
to work full time in the field. In 1988, with the
conception of Corporate Investigation Services in
London, he directed the company from its grass roots
to the multi-million dollar organization it is today.
Although proud of this accomplishment, he is more
proud of having surrounded himself with the elite
staff of experts available to serve Corporate Investigation
Services clients.
Mike Glavin - Vice President
of Operations
Over 15 years of security and investigative experience
empowers our clients with a formidable investigative
consultant. Mike's ability to decipher and respond
with solutions to complex matters make him a valued
resource for the clients he serves. Mike has risen
from the ranks investigating thefts, frauds, benefit
claims, conducting undercover assignments (to name
a few). Mike is looked upon as a worthy mentor for
those he directs and a valued professional in the
industry.
Dan Farr-
Vice-President of Training and Educational Services
As a valued member of the Halton Regional Police
Service, Staff Sergeant Dan Farr elected to take an
early retirement in order to compliment the C.I.S.
Team of Experts. Dan comes to us with one of the most
diverse policing backgrounds of any member of the
police service performing admirably as a key member
of:
- Forensic Identification Bureau;
- Drugs and Morality Bureau;
- Criminal Investigation Bureau;
- Criminal Intelligence Bureau,
- Crime Stoppers Coordinator; and
- Manager of the Policy, Planning and Evaluation
Bureau.
Dan was also selected by the Ontario Police College
to be a seconded instructor on the Management/Leadership
faculty, where he facilitated instruction in the First
Line Supervisory leadership course, facilitated adult
learning in both middle management and executive development
training courses.
As Director of Investigative and Protective Services
for C.I.S. he will continue providing presentations
nationwide to all levels of government and the private
sector on “Terrorism Awareness”. These
presentations and others have won him critical acclaim
from communities and organizations across Canada.
Ashraf Badir M.Sc.Eng.
- Manager Computer Forensics Division
Ashraf brings with him over 20 years of experience
in electronics and computer engineering. Ashraf hosts
a wealth of international work experience directly
relating to electronics and computer engineering and
has expanded his skills in these areas through applied
practice. Ashraf is formally trained in the application
of NTI computer forensics software.
Phil Valiquette - Technical
Services
Phil's 30 year tenure with the RCMP has earned him
the designation of Master Electronic Surveillance
Technician. His experience has provided Corporate
Investigation Services thousands of hours of video
evidence to include overt thefts, frauds of most every
description, drug abuse, health benefit abuse, sabotage,
property damage, to name a few. The installation of
a CCTV system (without having it discovered) is an
art. Phil takes his craft to a new level. Once installed,
the challenge for our client is to find the camera...knowing
it is there.
OUR INVESTIGATORS
Corporate Investigation Services would not be Corporate
Investigation Services without our investigators.
Anonymity as to their identity is best served by saying
that our talent is second to none. Nobody comes on
board without extensive previous experience, all of
whom are well rounded, each possessing his/her area
of strength and expertise. We are proud of each and
every operative. The success or failure of any business
is related to the people who get the job done. Corporate
Investigation Services is no exception.
